How can I be whole without the ones I love
Trapped in some false reality
How can I be whole without the ones I love
Do I got something to care about?
The people I know
Made me who I am today
Without them
I would have been just an empty shell
Fueled by memories
I tried to fix my mistakes
‘Cause now more then ever I want to bring back those days
Fallen apart lost in this cold place
You are the light
That leads me out
Hands are made to help
Embrace who I really am
I’m bringing back the days
Lost friendships now come back in mind
We’re on our own without saying goodbye
Bleah..
This has gave me so much
All that we shared isn’t lost at all
Fill me with hope
Those words that made me go on
Thank you for what you’ve done
But i believe now we’re on our own
One day we’ll find each other
When we grow up
We know
When we were together
We never gave up
Walking down an empty road
Two ways stand in front of us
Which one to take it’s up to us
A masterful EP, The Oklahoma Kid is resoundingly beautiful and presents a work that is as meaningful as it is introspective. Fortuneteller encapsulates the very essence of the post-hardcore and metalcore genres, but effectively intertwines tech metal and crushing djent riffs into a very solid effort. The Oklahoma Kid is intelligent, passionately-moving, and intensely engaging; music of my golden years. :) Kenny McGalem
